    Ningbo Sino-Canada Low-Carbon Technology Research Institute Co. Ltd. is a joint venture company created in June 2013. The company is located inNinghai,Zhejiang, P. R. China, about 250 kilometers south fromShanghai. Ninghai is proud to be a national ecological county, and also one of the top 100 counties in GDP inChina. 

        公司宗旨：结合中加两国各自的优势,致力于低碳建材、节能和环保新产品及新技术的研究、开发及应用，为中国的建材、家居、装修、重型机电包装、运输和景观工程及节能和环保等行业提供一个高端的研发和国际交流的平台；依托产品和技术优势，进行技术转让、产品检测、技术咨询及服务, 促进低碳新产品和新技术的推广及产业化。2016年1月研究院在宁波建成了中国第一条大幅面CLT建筑预制板生产线, 并与中加两国众多的著名高校、研究院和企业建立了紧密的产-学-研合作关系，已被国家有关部委和高校认定为国家木资源综合利用工程技术研究中心中试基地和机电产品包装生物质材料国家地方联合工程研究中心中试基地。

         Our mission is to promote Canadian advanced wood processing and construction technologies in China by working with various organizations such as University of New Brunswick, University of Alberta, Canada Wood, Nanjing Forestry University, Chinese Academy of Forestry etc., to pursue research and development in new eco-friendly products and technologies with low-carbon emission and reduced energy consumptions, and to create novel materials for construction, furniture, decoration, heavy-duty machinery packaging, transportation and landscaping projects. We aim to offer new technology transfer, product tests, and consulting services in promoting commercialization of new products and technologies with low-carbon emission.
